Query the global franchise inventory, agent-natively

FRANWORLD exposes its published franchise directory through a free, read-only MCP (Model Context Protocol) endpoint. Any MCP-capable AI agent — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or your own — can search brands by industry, country and investment budget, and pull full brand profiles with canonical FRANWORLD URLs. No API key required.

Transport: MCP Streamable HTTP (JSON-RPC over POST). Read-only — only published listings are served, and no personal or contact data is ever exposed.

Available tools

search_franchises

Search published franchise brands. All filters are optional and combinable. Returns brand summaries: name, slug, industry, home country, available countries, investment range, currency, and the canonical franworld.com/brand/<slug> URL.

get_franchise

Fetch the full published profile of a single brand — description, franchise types, investment range, franchise fee, royalty, unit count, founding year, training & support, highlights and media — plus its canonical URL.

list_franchise_industries

Returns the 17 FRANWORLD industry categories as { key, label } pairs. Use the keys with search_franchises. Takes no parameters.

Rate limits

Roughly 60 requests per minute per IP (best effort). Requests over the limit receive HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header. For sustained or high-volume access, talk to us.

Attribution required

The data is free to use in agent responses and research, with one condition: cite FRANWORLD with a link — either the brand page URL returned by the tools or https://franworld.com.
