Cookies
One cookie, and it is the one that keeps you signed in. Measurement is anonymous, ours alone, and off until you say yes. No advertising, no third-party trackers.

What we ask you, and why
We set exactly one cookie, and only after you sign in. It is strictly necessary — without it you would be signed out on every page — so it does not require consent and you are not asked about it. Measurement is the one thing we do ask about. We count anonymous page views to see which brands people actually reach; that needs an identifier which is not strictly necessary, so nothing is counted until you agree. Refusing takes one click, the same click as agreeing, and the site behaves identically either way.
Say no and no identifier is created at all. Change your mind later and the identifier is deleted from your browser the moment you withdraw. We keep a dated record of the answer itself — that is what lets us show, if anyone asks, that we had permission.
If you allow measurement
One random identifier is stored in your browser, and it is the only thing that ties two page views together. What reaches us is the page address, the event name, your language and the website you arrived from — the site, not the search you typed. What does notreach us: your IP address, your browser fingerprint, your name, and anything you typed into a form. Nothing is sent to a third party, because there is no third party: the counting runs on our own database.

Stored because of your answer
These are not cookies — your browser holds them on your device and only the second one is ever sent to us. Both appear only after you answer the measurement question, and both disappear when you clear your site data.

What your browser keeps for you, on its own
These are not cookies. They are stored by your browser, on your device, and are never sent to us — they exist so the site remembers small things between visits. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of them, and nothing on FRANWORLD breaks if you do.
- Your shortlist and comparison list — the brands you saved, so they are still there tomorrow.
- Unlocked brand economics — that you have registered and may see the full ownership-type figures. Kept 30 days.
- Your conversation with Maya — the recent messages and the profile you gave her, so she does not ask twice.
- Your alert criteria and tool answers — so a half-finished form is not lost.
- Interface preferences — your language, and whether you dismissed a prompt.
Some of these hold your name and email address because you typed them into a form. If you are on a shared computer, sign out and clear your site data.
Third parties
We embed no advertising networks, no social media pixels and no third-party analytics scripts, so no third party sets a cookie on this site. Our own measurement writes to our own database and leaves nothing with anyone else. External services we do use — for email, payments, the AI advisor and map data — are described in the privacy policy; none of them run in your browser.
Turning cookies off
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking ours means you cannot stay signed in — everything else on FRANWORLD, including search, comparison and enquiries, works without it.
