The opportunity
Australian café craft. Vietnamese soul.

Stellarossa is an Australian cafe brand founded in Brisbane in 2009 and now operating 24 cafes across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. The name means red star in Italian, and the proposition is Italian-inspired espresso delivered with Australian cafe service: flat whites, cappuccinos and long blacks made from farmer-direct Arabica roasted by a Brisbane partner roaster into three house blends, alongside an all-day food menu of breakfast, gourmet sandwiches, toasties, wraps and bowls.
The opportunity now offered through FRANWORLD is the exclusive Vietnam master franchise. It is not a licence for a handful of cafes: the brand is looking for one national partner to establish a Vietnamese operating company, open flagship proof-of-concept stores, expand company-owned sites to prove the unit economics, and then launch a national franchise network on that base. Stellarossa Australia contributes brand and IP, operations manuals, coffee standards and product development, store design and prototypes, technology and loyalty platforms, marketing frameworks and leadership support. The master franchisee owns local management, property and leasing, staff recruitment, local supply chain, local marketing, franchise sales, regulatory relationships and day-to-day operations.
The menu architecture is built for Vietnam rather than copied from Australia. Australian espresso stays the non-negotiable core; around it sit four adaptation layers the local team develops: Vietnamese phin-inspired coffee, cold coffee such as cold brew and iced espresso, tea and modern refreshment including matcha and wellness drinks, and signature drinks built on local flavours like coconut, pandan, mango and local herbs.
Four store formats cover the urban map: the Hub cafe and bar at 1,500 to 2,500 sq ft as the flagship, inline cafes at 800 to 1,500 sq ft on high streets, kiosks at 300 to 800 sq ft in high-footfall retail, universities and transport hubs, and convenience cafes on arterial roads tailored to motorbike commuting.
The brand is explicit about who this is not for: passive investors, single-store operators, undercapitalised partners, short-term flippers, and partners without local management capability. It seeks established F&B groups, multi-unit hospitality operators, family-owned conglomerates and property groups able to commit for five to ten years.
